One of the priorities of the RDGA is to promote Junior golf. Sons and daughters of district members are invited to participate in a program that stresses the rules of the game, competition and sportsmanship. The RDGA Futures Golf Club was started in 2005 to enable Junior boys and girls who are not members of RDGA Clubs to compete in the full schedule of RDGA Junior Golf events each year. The district also supports a college scholarship fund for those who qualify.
