The colors of autumn were on display when Brook-Lea Country Club hosted the final RDGA Play Day of 2015, above, on Monday, September 28.
Following a successful first year on the Rochester District Golf Association schedule, RDGA Play Days returned in a big way for 2015!
Beginning with the first RDGA Play Day of 2015, at Irondequoit Country Club on May 4, followed by the year’s second Play Day at Mendon Golf Club, on August 17 – and including our final Play Day event of the season, at Brook-Lea Country Club on September 28 – RDGA members had a fantastic selection of exclusive local country clubs from which to choose this season.
Open to all amateur golfers – men and women, ages 18 and above – RDGA Play Day contestants must have a current USGA Handicap Index through an RDGA Member Club. Designed to be a fun, yet competitive day, registration for RDGA Play Day events is $75 per person and includes lunch, use of the club’s practice facility, a cart and 18 holes of stroke play at 100-percent handicap. Contestants are welcome to request pairing in foursomes with friends who are also registered to play. Flights include Men’s White Tees, Men’s Gold Tees and Women; prizes will be awarded for top scores in both net and gross divisions.
