This year's RDGA Junior Championship was held at Clifton Springs Country Club. Players enjoyed beautiful weather as well as a beautiful golf course all week!
In the Junior Boys division Ian Spellane of Oak Hill defeated Conor Raeman of Mendon Golf Club 1 up in the final match. After being down 4 holes on the front nine to Raeman, Spellane hung in the match and finished strong to win the Junior Boys Championship on the 18th hole.
In the Junior Girls division Danielle Fuss of Oak Hill defeated Kristin Powers also of Oak Hill, 3&1 in the final match.
In the Sub-Junior Boys division Gunnar Doyle successfully defended his crown by defeating Christian Chapman 4&3 in the final match.
In the Sub-Junior Girls division Sarah Gerken defeated Sienna Meyer by a score of 8&6.
Finally, in the Pee Wee Division Jeremy Summerson of Cobblestone Creek shot nine hole rounds of 39-43 to total 81 and win the Pee Wee Championship.
In the Pee Wee Girls division Katherine Brown of Mendon Golf Club was the champion with nine hole rounds of 74-60 to total 134 for the event.
