Congratulations to Wegmans LPGA Championship Winner Inbee Park – and Monroe GC – For a Successful Week - RDGA

The Rochester District Golf Association wishes to congratulate Inbee Park for her successful title defense in the 2014 Wegmans LPGA Championship on Sunday – as well as Monroe Golf Club for successfully hosting the event for the first time!

An estimated crowd of more than 25,000 spectators lined Monroe’s classic Donald Ross-designed layout Sunday to watch the drama unfold, as the club and its grounds comfortably accommodated the galleries and proved itself equal to the task in its first opportunity to host a major championship golf event.

Thanks to the Monroe membership, staff, General Manager Scott Ellender and head PGA Professional Jim Mrva for representing the local golfing community so well!
