On Friday, April 5, the Rochester District Golf Association will be hosting an informational and educational seminar at our offices for our Member Clubs on the use of the USGA Tournament Management system – the free-to-use cloud-based software that allows clubs to organize events, leagues and trips while managing player rosters and GHIN Handicapping.
The RDGA will be welcoming Golf Genius Northeast Region Account Manager Ken Dixon to Rochester to lead the seminars and provide free-of-charge demonstrations of Tournament Management Club to representatives of RDGA Member Clubs, as well as Western New York PGA Section Professionals, who will be able to earn education credits for attending the one-day seminars.
This seminar will include presentations ranging from introductory to intermediate use, depending on your experience level. Here is the schedule and itinerary for the seminar:
Friday, April 5
“Introductory” sessions outlining the basics of USGA Tournament Management, including Q&A with Ken Dixon. Perfect for those who have not yet used TM Club, or would just like a “refresher.” In the afternoon, Dixon will lead a discussion aimed at the experinced, or “intermediate” TM user.
- Session 1: 9 am – Noon
- Session 2: 1 – 4 pm
