RDGA & Pittsford Digital Golf Ryder Cup Tournaments

Now, as the season winds down for OUTDOOR golf in Rochester, the RDGA is excited to announce our new INDOOR golf event for this fall – the RDGA-PDG Two Person Sim Ryder Cup – beginning Monday, October 24 at Pittsford Digital Golf. Registration for this event will open September 20, at 9:00 am!

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the number of available hitting bays for this event, space is limited to 48 teams, or 96 total players.

HOW IT WORKS:

Who: 48 total teams spread out over 4 Qualifiers; 12 teams per Qualifier

What: Format is a Two Person team best ball (Four Ball)

When: During registration, teams choose the date and course where they attempt to qualify…

Qualifiers:

• Monday October 24 – Kiawah Island, Host of the 1991 Ryder Cup

• Monday October 31 – Gleneagles, Host of the 2014 Ryder Cup

• Monday November 14 – Le Golf National, Host of the 2018 Ryder Cup

• Monday November 21 – Whistling Straights, Host of the 2020 Ryder Cup

Then: The four teams that qualify for the Sim Ryder Cup Championship meet to decide the title…

• Monday December 5 – Bethpage Black, Host of the 2025 Ryder Cup

Before each Qualifier and the Championship will be a practice round on the course on the preceding Friday. Same tee time as taken in Qualifier will be assigned for Friday Qualifier. (Tee times selected during registration.)

Entry Fee is $300 per team which includes:
Practice Round, Qualifying Round, and Championship Round.

There’s two things you can do to get ready before you register that will make your registration process easier. One, check with your current RDGA Member Club to make sure that your RDGA GHIN® Handicap Index® is active – and two, if you and/or your partner have never played in an RDGA event before (or have not played in one since 2017), make sure that you both have completed a free RDGA Player Profile.

If the starting field for this event fills up with 48 teams (96 players) before you and your partner have a chance to register, be sure to register your team anyway and secure a place on the event waitlist – then, if places open up later, we will be able to add your team to the event roster. Please note – you will not be charged to register your team for the event waitlist – your payment will only be processed if your team is added to the starting field.
