This year, the 10th RDGA Mid-Amateur Championship visits scenic Chili Country Club on August 12-13.
Male golfers over the age of 25 – don’t miss your chance to play in one of the major championships on the Rochester District Golf Association schedule – the 2016 RDGA Mid-Amateur Championship, coming up on August 12-13 and hosted by the scenic and challenging Chili Country Club!
Chili’s championship-level greens will challenge contestants and – along with recent improvements and upgrades that include the addition of paved cart paths throughout the golf course, a new irrigation system and improved fertilization practices – the course’s fairways and greens are as good as they have ever been.
Celebrating its 10th year as an RDGA major championship, the 2016 Mid Amateur champion will be crowned following 36 holes of stroke play (two 18-hole rounds) on Friday, August 12 and Saturday, August 13. An added incentive: the top 3 finishers receive an exemption into the 2017 RDGA District Championship!
Registration for this event closes on August 8. The registration fee includes 36 holes of golf, cart, use of the practice range, lunch each day, a tee gift, prizes – and an hors d’ouvres reception following play on Saturday, which is open to spouses and guests.
