Trophies for each of the RDGA Junior Championships will be presented to the finalists at Oak Hill Country Club on Thursday, July 23.
This week, historic Oak Hill Country Club in Pittsford is hosting the 2015 Rochester District Golf Association Junior, Sub-Junior and Pee Wee Championships. The top players in each age category – Boys and Girls – are competing for this year’s titles on Oak Hill’s West Course.
Through the first two days of the RDGA Junior Championships, the single elimination match play format has determined the final matches in the Boys Junior and Girls Junior (players ages 15 to 17) divisions, as well as the Boys Sub-Junior and Girls Sub-Junior (ages 12 to 14) divisions – all of which are set for Thursday, beginning at 8:30 a.m. In the Pee Wee Championship (for Boys and Girls ages 7 to 11), the second of two 9-hole stroke play rounds will be played Thursday morning immediately following the Junior and Sub-Junior Matches, beginning at 9:05 a.m.

The RDGA Junior Championships are open to members of current RDGA clubs, or those who are current members of the RDGA FUTURES CLUB. Players must be between the ages of 7 and 17 by July 31, 2015.
Parents, friends and guests are welcome to attend the RDGA Junior Championships and follow the groups around the course, but parents will not be allowed to caddie for their children.
