A Scorer works out on the golf course during RDGA tournaments, is assigned to designated holes where they ask players for their last few hole scores after they complete their most recent hole – then records those scores in our tournament software platform. This process helps the RDGA provide “live scoring” for our major championships. Scorers are needed for the Monroe Invitational, the RDGA Men’s District Championship, the RDGA Men’s Senior Championships and the Girls and Boys Junior Championships.

The RDGA will provide extensive information and training on how to successfully complete the scoring process. Shifts are generally 3 to 4 hours long.
